Miley was born on November 23, 1992, though her birthname is Destiny Hope, she now goes by the name Miley. Her father is Billy Ray Cyrus, a well-known country singer. After watching her father's career, Miley decided to start acting, and made a small appearance on her dad's tv show "Doc" in 1993. She also appeared as Ruthie (Age 8) in the 2003 movie "Big Fish". Miley now stars in Disney Channel's new show "Hannah Montana", and she is also a singer. She has 5 siblings who all moved out to L.A. with her and their dad when she landed the role on "Hannah Montana".
